Our buns are made from water, non-GMO wheat gluten, oat, non-GMO wheat protein, sunflower flour, organic flax, non-GMO wheat starch, non-GMO vinegar, organic olive oil, non-GMO yeast, salt, and non-GMO stevia. No preservatives, no added sugar, no artificial ingredients.

No. Gluten is actually our number-one ingredient. It is where most of our protein comes from.

Yes. Mostly all of UnbelievaBuns products are plant-based, making them vegan and vegetarian-friendly. Unlike many high-protein breads that rely on eggs, our protein comes from wheat. The exception is our Butter Buns or other products made from our butter bun recipe. Instead of olive oil, we use butter in those products.

Yes. Our dough has been non-GMO certified.

Yes. Some of our products are made with butter. Additionally, we do not own the bakeries in which the products are made. Depending on the bakery, there could be all major allergens present.

The secret is ours to keep. What we can tell you is that our buns are only 8.9 total carbs with 7.1g of fiber, so only 1.8 net carbs per bun.

UnbelievaBuns are designed not to spike blood sugar. They are high in protein and fiber, with minimal net carbs. Many diabetic customers have proven they don't spike their blood sugar and say our breads are the only ones they can eat.

Yes. They are a fit for any low-carb diet, including Atkins.

Yes. UnbelievaBuns are 2 points on Weight Watchers.

All of our breads have been shown not to pull you out of ketosis. At 1.8g net carbs per bun, UnbelievaBuns fit easily into a standard keto diet.

UnbelievaBuns are made fresh and ship from North Carolina. Because they are perishable, we only ship Monday through Wednesday to avoid orders sitting in transit over the weekend. You will receive an email with tracking once your order ships. Once they arrive, freeze immediately upon receipt. You can also refrigerate, but will need to consume within a few days.

Typical transit times are 2 days depending on your location and the carrier.

Free for East Coast shipments with an order value of $30 or more. For West Coast shipping, you will select your option at checkout.

Not at this time. The transit times are currently too long for our breads.

No. They are shipped frozen but will thaw in transit. That is normal. Re-freeze them as soon as they arrive. Thawing and refreezing does not affect taste or texture.

• Room temperature: only a few days, since we have no preservatives

They thaw quickly, about 10 minutes at room temperature. To speed it up, microwave for 15 seconds. Never microwave for more than 30 seconds.

Face-down in a covered skillet on the stovetop is best. The cover traps moisture so the buns stay soft inside. If you use a slot toaster, place the buns face-down on top of the slots (not in them) and rotate a couple of times. Avoid oven toasting, it dries them out.

Yes. Once thawed, they are ready to eat.

We are sure you'll love UnbelievaBuns. However, because it is a food product, and because it is perishable with no preservatives, we cannot take the product back for safety reasons.

The carriers (UPS and FedEx) require a picture of the shipping box damage, a picture of the shipping label on the box, and at least one picture of the damaged product inside. Please email us these pictures immediately so we can start a damage claim for you.

Please email us as soon as possible and we will try everything to accommodate your request. Sometimes orders have already processed, at which point it would be too late for us to make changes.

A standard hamburger bun has roughly 140 calories, 3 to 4g protein, and 22g net carbs. UnbelievaBuns have 119 calories, 17g protein, and 1.8g net carbs. Lower calories, much higher protein, a fraction of the carbs.

Most high-protein breads on the market are only adding protein to an existing bread, a process known as fortifying. For example, they take a regular bun with 140 calories, 22g of carbs, and only 4g of protein, then add a protein source, making the bun 200+ calories with 11g of protein while it still has the same amount of sugar and carbs. UnbelievaBuns are built different. Our bread recipe was built from scratch with protein as the main macro.
